I chose L.Hawkins and Sons for my brother’s funeral, as I wished to support an independent local firm. I had no experience of how a burial would be conducted, but Lee, the funeral director, took me through the whole procedure beforehand, and the way in which it was handled on the day itself was exemplary, with great dignity and humanity. I would thoroughly recommend this company for its old-fashioned, personal and professional approach, and for their kindness throughout.

From the moment I approached Rachel at L Hawkins about funeral arrangements, she was so kind and helpful. Lee was the funeral director (who I met to discuss our requirements ) he explained everything so clearly and showed great respect and professionalism. He organised everything we wanted. On the day of the funeral Lee and his team were amazing- they supported and guided us through what was an incredibly difficult time for us. I cannot thank Lee and the team at L Hawkins for their kindness, care, empathy and support and for all they did for our family.
