I chose L.Hawkins and Sons for my brother’s funeral, as I wished to support an independent local firm. I had no experience of how a burial would be conducted, but Lee, the funeral director, took me through the whole procedure beforehand, and the way in which it was handled on the day itself was exemplary, with great dignity and humanity.
